Three days of Duluth's best trail running! 2009 Results Brought to you by the directors of the Burrito Union 10 Hour Tri, the Duluth Trail Festival will be one big weekend of runners coming together! Events: Friday 9/25: Packet pickup at Chester Park along with the soon to be famous Chester Tester Down Hill Up Hill Challenge (roughly 5 km) to kick off the weekend. Race starts at 5:00 PM. Registration/packet pickup opens at 3:00 at Chester Bowl. Race includes going up the steepest hills of any running race around! This will be one for the story books. Saturday 9/26: Superior Hiking Trail 15 km starts at 11:00 AM. Racers will be bused (from outside the zoo) to the starting line and finish outside the Duluth Zoo (Kingsbury Ck Trail Head). All athletes are required to carry a water bottle on course in addition to the 4 water stations. Bus trips start at 9:00. Last bus leaves at 10:30. Packet pickup and day of registration by the zoo before hopping on the bus. Athletes only on the bus. There will be no busing after the race, so you need to park at the finish so you can hop in your car at the end. Sunday 9/27: Park Point Beach 5 km starts at 9:30 AM. Packet pickup/day of registration opes at 8:00. Overall awards follow the end of this race.
